Paul Rudd named world’s sexiest man in People magazine’s annual edition


Paul Rudd announced the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this People the magazine named him “the sexiest man in the world” for 2021.

“I have business cards made,” he told the magazine.

Rudd thinks he’s punk, “I have a conscience, enough to know that when people hear that I’m picked for this, they’ll say, ‘What? “”

The 52-year-old New Jersey native has appeared in films such as Distraught, The Cider house regulations, Presenter: The Legend of Ron Bourgogne, and The 40-year-old virgin.

Younger fans know Rudd from his Marvel films portraying comic book hero Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man.

Rudd played the role of homosexual in the 1998 novel-turned-film The object of my affection starring Jennifer Aniston, Allison Janney, Alan Alda and legendary queer actor Nigel Hawthorne.

Aniston’s character is a social worker carrying a child who falls in love with his gay best friend. She wants to raise the child with the character of Rudd.

LGBTQ rights group GLAAD praised the positive portrayal of a gay lead character in a big movie. He nominated the film for Best Picture.

Rudd’s next big movie is Ghostbusters: the afterlife.

The film is set in the same cinematic universe as the 1984 original ghost hunters film starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.

It will be in big circulation on November 19.
